FAISALABAD (Aug 23, 2026): A 60-year-old grandfather allegedly slit the throats of his two grandsons in the Mamon Kanjan area on Friday, reportedly over their “naughty” behavior.
According to police, the accused, Ata Muhammad, used a sharp weapon to kill five-year-old Nabeel and seven-year-old Adeel after they failed to follow his instructions.
The children’s mother and grandmother were also injured when they tried to intervene. The father of the deceased children is in Dubai where he works as a tailor. Police have arrested the alleged killer and shifted him to the Mamon Kanjan police station for further investigation.
