Petrol and diesel prices raised again: petrol up by Rs 2.29, diesel by Rs 1.11 per litre

ISLAMABAD (Sept 02): The government has raised petrol and diesel prices as the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Wednesday issued a notification to increase the petrol price by Rs 2.29 and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 1.11 per litre, with effect from September 03.

The price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 346.16 per litre, while the price of diesel has been set at Rs 372.03 per litre.

On Tuesday, petrol price was raised by Rs 1.08, and diesel by 51 paisa per litre.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the revised petroleum prices were determined under the federal government’s revised petroleum pricing mechanism.
