ISLAMABAD (Sept 3): The Italian Embassy has issued a stern warning to student visa applicants, stating that submitting fake documents puts them at risk of immediate rejection.
In a post shared on their official X account, the embassy noted: “The Italian Embassy in Islamabad has recently caught a massive spike in fake or questionable documents submitted with student visa applications.”
“Applicants are strongly warned not to use forged paperwork—especially regarding financial proof or bank statements. Doing so will result in an immediate rejection and can seriously hurt your chances of getting a visa in the future.”

Data from international education monitoring groups shows that every year around 150,000 Pakistani students apply to study abroad, with approximately 115,000 Pakistani students actively enrolled in foreign higher education institutions.
