LAHORE (Sept 12): Mahnoor Safdar, the youngest daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif tied the knot with Azan Jabbar on Saturday. The Nikah (marriage contract) of Mahnoor Safdar was solemnized at Jati Umra, Lahore.
The wedding took place just days after Mahnoor completed her graduation in Anthropology from London . The groom Azan, son of a prominent industrialist Jabbar Khalid, also studied at the SOAS University of London.
Maryam Nawaz had gone to London to attend her daughter’s graduation ceremony and returned to Lahore on Wednesday. Only the closest family members and relatives were invited to the Nikah ceremony.
