KARACHI (Sep 4): A petty dispute between close friends took a brutal turn when a boy was tortured by his companions in the Defence area of the metropolitan city. They dragged him to the ground, beat him with a baseball bat, and forced hair into his mouth before breaking his leg.
According to initial reports, the victim, a college student named Ali Jaffary, had allegedly insulted one of his friends other accounts said there was a monetary issue. On August 29, 2026, he was abducted from Khayaban-e-Bukhari by suspects identified as Ibrahim, Ibrahim Malik, and two other, unidentified accomplices.
The suspects initially took Jaffary to Bukhari Commercial before moving him to ‘Do Darya’, an area within the jurisdiction of the Sahil Police Station, where they tortured him for over two hours. One of the attackers recorded the entire assault on video.
According to sources, the teen was too terrified to launch a complaint with police. The suspects also deleted their social media ID’s after the footage of torture went viral.
