PRESS RELEASE
KARACHI (Sept 28): Pakistan Eye Bank Society (PEBS), through its Global Opportunity Centre (PEBS-GO), held a poster exhibition at PEBS Hospital to mark the European Day of Languages.
The exhibition featured seven group presentations by 21 students from the inaugural
German Language Certificate Course. Under the theme “Languages Unite!”, students
explored Europe’s linguistic diversity, cultural heritage, language learning, and career
opportunities. The presentations formed part of an International Baccalaureate-based
Creativity, Activity, Service (C.A.S.) project.
Speaking at the event, PEBS President Qazi Sajid Ali praised the students’ work and
said initiatives of this kind deserve wider recognition. Joint Secretary Qazi Yasir Ali
commended the presentations for promoting awareness of European languages and
cultures.
German language instructor M. Ghazanfar Rehman highlighted the academic and
professional opportunities that language learning can create.
The exhibition reflects PEBS-GO’s aim to help Pakistani students develop language, presentation, and cross-cultural skills.
