KARACHI (Sept 14): A young mother and her three minor children were killed with a sharp-edged weapon in Karachi’s Surjani area on Monday.
According to police, the deceased woman was 34-year-old Mehwish, while her children were identified as six-year-old Harba, five-year-old Hunain, and 18-month-old Ashmeera.

Ashmeera was initially taken to a hospital in critical condition, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP)( West Tariq Mastoi said police reached the scene and launched an investigation. Police have detained the head of the family for questioning, adding that the incident is being investigated from all angles.
