Another hike in petrol and diesel prices: petrol up by Rs 1.08, diesel by 51 paisa per litre

ISLAMABAD (Sept 02): The government announced another hike in petrol and diesel prices as the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Tuesday issued a notification to raise the petrol price by Rs 1.08 and high-speed diesel (HSD) by 51 paisa per litre, with effect from September 02.

The price of high-speed diesel has been fixed at Rs370.92 per litre, while the price of Motor Spirit (MS) has been set at Rs343.87 per litre.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the revised petroleum prices were determined under the federal government’s revised petroleum pricing mechanism.
